I help older adults begin to navigate the challenges that happen to us as we age and get into our Senior years. There may be loss of role as we consider the adaptations we need to make when our working years are dwindling. These are times when we need to begin to assess our quality of life as we face the challenges and realities of aging.
I help older adults deal with the losses that might result in problems such as depression, grief, or anxiety or possible self-medication with substances. In addition, it is important to reevaluate how to spend our time now that we are either contemplating retirement or are in the midst of life without structure.
I take Medicare reimbursement to help adults 65 and older afford the counseling that is often necessary during this time of adjustment.
